WHAT WE BELIEVE:

The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith We believe that:

The Holy Bible consisting of both old and new testaments is the divinely inspired Word of God. Each word is perfect truth and without any error.

John 5:39; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25

God has revealed Himself as Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Three persons yet still one God. These three are yet one God who have the same attributes, nature and character and are worthy of the same honor obediences.

Matthew 28:18-19; Mark 12:29; Hebrews 1:1-3; Revelation 1:4-6

Jesus Christ is the image of God. He himself is God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, took upon himself our nature, lived a sinless life, lived as both fully God and fully man, died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of the world. He was buried. He arose from the dead, ascended into heaven where He is our interceding High Priest, seated at the right hand of God the Father. He will return again to judge the quick and the dead.

John 1:1-2; Acts 7:37-38

The church is the one body in Christ where the Holy Spirit unifies baptized believers. The mission of the church is to witness concerning its Head, Jesus Christ; to teach and preach the Word of God among all people; to glorify God; to yield to the Holy Spirit; to edify believers and to bring the lost to repentance.

Matthew 16:16-18; John 17:21; Romans 12:5

That God sovereignly created the world out of nothing.

Genesis 1:1

That salvation is only through Jesus Christ. Redemption has only been accomplished through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:8-9

That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Man by his own willful act fell from a state of righteousness and holiness. We are now unable to obtain a state of righteousness by our own efforts, but must be redeemed or bought back by Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:23-25; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

That the Word of God should be alive in the life of the believer. Each believer is to lay a foundation of Biblical truth and personal experience on which to build a solid life. Our walk in faith is continuous and should exhibit the power of God.

Romans 4:1-5; Galatians 5:16-25; Jude 24

That the redeemed are saved to serve; and in our serving others are led to be saved. That we are to be obedient to the command of Jesus Christ to go into the entire world to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:18-19; Mark 16:15; John 17:18
